Features of HID xenon bulbs
Xenon, which is an inert gas, does not react with other elements. In fact, it belongs to the group of noble gas elements. Xenon, when used in car headlights, produces a brighter light, often using less wattage as well.
One type are HID (High Intensity Discharge) xenon bulbs. HID xenon bulbs are lit with a spark and can produce light up to 300% brighter than halogen bulbs.
These bulbs tend to be of very low wattage – typically 35 watts, which is substantially less than the wattage used by halogen bulbs. HID bulbs have revolutionised the automotive industry, providing both quality and satisfaction among customers.
It is advisable to consult a mechanic or technician before adding an accessory to your car, particularly in the case of HID bulbs as installation can be dangerous without special expertise.
HID xenon bulbs have a further advantage as well. They can have a lifespan of up to ten times that of halogen bulbs. Added to the increased brightness and the lesser wattage, it’s clear that HID xenon bulbs are among the best headlight bulbs available.
