AA Fire Blanket: a generous 1m square of fireproof fabric, especially useful in kitchens.

Simply pull down two tapes to get ready for use so is easy to use in an emergency. A sensible addition to the car safety kit but can be used in the garden for BBq or in the  kitchen.

Complies with BS EN 1869:1997.

Directions for use in the event of a fire:

• Pull tapes downwards and outwards
• Hold fire blanket in shield position
• Place gently over fire
• Cover burning material completely
• Switch off heat
• Leave covered until cool

Fire blankets can also be used on fires involving clothing; in which case wrap tightly in fire blanket.

Please note: These Fire Blankets are only for a single use and should be thrown away after any use.
